I produce live visuals for clubnights, working alongside DJs to produce work for their live sets and with promoters, creating bespoke visuals for their nights, under the pseudonym 'Crayon Transmission'.

I wanted to explore the media of projection and push what was possible within a venue setting.

Collaborating with Nottingham/London based artist and DJ Laurence Matthew, we worked on the idea of projecting 3D visuals for a clubnight he had established. I made a set of video clips that would appear in 3D and performed a live visual set for the cubnight, 'Fresh out of Death' where everyone who came along was given a pair of 3D glasses and could enjoy the projections in 3D.

From the success of this performance I was approached by 'Trampoline', a platform for new media art based in the UK. They asked me to create a bespoke set as part of their curation of an experimental music and visuals night at the Broadway Cinema, Nottingham.

"Trampoline curated April's Electric Lounge presenting a selection of the latest experimental electronic music and cutting edge visuals...

Electric lounge was invited to a dinner for two with Trampoline as we presented an evening of candy and cupcakes for the eyes accompanied by a soothing Sunday stroll for the ears; Easing you through a brand new array of visual play and live music. A large audience tuned in to a live 3-D performance from Crayon Transmission, using unique 3-D glasses designed specifically to accompany the glitchy meanderings of MIDSR." article
